WORKING FIRE: This morning at 03:36 Baldwinsville Volunteers with automatic aid were dispatched for the reported house on fire in the NWFD Station 1 area. Baldwinsville Engine 5 (Capt. Neish) and Car 5 (AC Belczak) arrived and reported heavy fire showing and declared the Signal 99 working fire. While Engine 5 started an aggressive interior attack, Rescue 6 (Capt. Catalino) and Ladder 2 (Capt. McIntyre) arrived and pulled an additional handline to support interior crews with fire suppression. Baldwinsville Car 1 (A. DiGregorio) assumed Operations, Car 2 (DC K. DiGregorio) assumed the interior division with Car 3 (AC O'Kelly) being assigned Safety. Liverpool Engine 5 arrived and established the initial RIT company while Plainville Tanker 1 began nursing operations. The Warners-Memphis Engine handled the supply pumper duties with Plainville Car 2 (DC Stachurski) being assigned the Water Supply division. Lysander Engine 1 was directed to establish the fill site on Connors road while an additional tanker from Jordan FD was started. With the initial RIT being put to work, the Solvay FD was started to handle the RIT duties. Plainville Rescue 5 provided manpower while Plainville, Lysander, Warners-Memphis and Jordan tankers continued to shuttle water. Due to weather conditions, Belgium Cold Springs, Seneca River, and Camillus who were on coverage assignment were moved into the scene to assist with overhaul and checking for extension. Moyers Corners and Phoenix FD's provided the move-up assignment while Fairmount FD and Jordan FD stood bye on their floors to cover multiple districts that were operating. GBAC, Jordan and Waves ambulances were on scene standing bye as a precaution. Assistance was also provided by the Onondaga County Department of Emergency Management.
