At 11:09 on Saturday, June 13, 2015 Baldwinsville volunteers were dispatched for 2 individuals in the water behind the Red Mill Inn near the dam.  BC4 (BC Roziock) arrived shortly after dispatch, assumed command and confirmed witness reports of 2 people possibly in the water near the dam.  Baldwinsville SQ3 (Lt. Belczak) arrived at the reported location while SQ1 (Capt. Natoli) with WR3 (Jet Ski) and SQ2 (Lt. Harper) with WR2 (boat) responded to the lower lock boat launch point at Community Park.  Rescue 6 responded to assist the SQ3 crew while WR1 responded from the high side of the lock, thru the lock system to the reported location.  The Baldwinsville dive trailer responded and due to the conditions of the water divers were not able to make entry.  The Onondaga County dive team was also dispatched as a precaution to stage at Community Park.  Multiple mutual aid companies were requested to assist including the Syracuse FD with their underwater water rescue equipment.  The Onondaga County Air 1 Helicopter provided very important air support during the entire operation.  While crews operated, the Moyers Corners FD provided an engine company to standby at our Station 1.
