On 2/25/15 at 12:04 hours, Liverpool fire with Automatic Aid from Baldwinsville, Moyers Corners, and Mattydale were dispatched for the reported living room on fire at 122 Memphis Street in the Village of Liverpool.  Baldwinsville Ladder 2 (FF Palmer) and BC 3 (BC Kennedy) responded as the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) designated to ensure firefighter safety. Shortly after gathering the necessary equipment, surveying the scene, ensuring ladders were placed, and access provided, the crew was put to work with fire suppression activities.  Moyers Corners Rescue 3 operated as an additional RIT due to the limited access (snow and fences).  All crews were working in waist deep snow which hindered access and suppression activities. Multiple mutual aid companies working included Moyers Corners, Belgium Cold Springs, Mattydale, Seneca River, Lakeside, Clay, and Hinsdale fire departments.  Rural Metro provided the ambulance standby for operating companies.  Baldwinsville Ladder 2 operated for several hours before heading to Liverpool Station 1 for a standby as crews were being rotated due to the high snow levels and heavy fire load.
